Following the screening of \u00e2\u20ac\u02dcAn Inconvenient Truth\u00e2\u20ac\u2122, Rev. Arnie is seeking your support to do his pastoral work on his bicycle.<o:p><\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"margin-left: 0cm\" class=\"MsoNormal\"><span lang=\"EN-GB\">By sponsoring him a few cents per kilometre between June and December, you will:<o:p><\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n<ul type=\"disc\" style=\"margin-top: 0cm\">\n<li style=\"margin-left: 36pt\" class=\"MsoNormal\"><span lang=\"EN-GB\">Help      Rev. Arnie get fitter!<o:p><\/o:p><\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"margin-left: 36pt\" class=\"MsoNormal\"><span lang=\"EN-GB\">Help      to reduce carbon emissions<o:p><\/o:p><\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"margin-left: 36pt\" class=\"MsoNormal\"><span lang=\"EN-GB\">Raise      funds to help our young people get to the\u00c2\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/ncyc.org.au\/\" target=\"_blank\">National Christian Youth      Convention<\/a>\u00c2\u00a0\u00e2\u20ac\u201c to be held in Melbourne in January 2009.<o:p><\/o:p><\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p style=\"margin-left: 0cm\" class=\"MsoNormal\"><span lang=\"EN-GB\">If 15 people sponsor 5 cents per km, and Arnie cycles 20km per week in his normal ministry duties, it would mean:<o:p><\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n<ul type=\"disc\" style=\"margin-top: 0cm\">\n<li style=\"margin-left: 36pt\" class=\"MsoNormal\"><span lang=\"EN-GB\">Each      person sponsoring would contribute $1 towards NCYC per week for a maximum      of 30 weeks. <o:p><\/o:p><\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"margin-left: 36pt\" class=\"MsoNormal\"><span lang=\"EN-GB\">This      would total $450 of support and encouragement to those going to NCYC.<o:p><\/o:p><\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>For more information or to make a donation,\u00c2\u00a0<a href=\"mailto:minister@oakleigh.unitingchurch.org.au\">email Rev Arnie<\/a>.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Reduce global warming &amp; support NCYC at the same time One of the ways to help reduce CO2 emissions is to use our cars less.
