Prayer

prayerPrayer is fundamental to our lives of faith. Prayer creates space to be aware of God’s presence. We encourage all people of faith to pray often, on your own, with a friend, in a group or as part of worship.

There are many different types of prayer and many different ways we can pray. Many of the groups in our history that have been set up specifically for prayer are focussed on intecessory prayer, where we ask for God to be with us and with those prayed for in specific ways.

Tuesday Prayer

The Prayer Fellowship is an intercessory prayer group. It meets to pray together regarding any personal, local or worldwide concerns. They meet each Tuesday at 10.30am (for about 30 mins) at St David’s Church, Drummond Street, Oakleigh. All are welcome to join them.
